I really love this one. There are so many layers. Texture, Metallics, aging, clear coats and my signature (hidden inspirational words.) Signed and dated. 36x48x2
It was so wonderful meeting everyone last night. 6 out of the 7 pieces that I took found new homes. I couldn't be more happy with their new owner's. It was particulary important to me to find the perfect home for "Inspirational Fire" aka "Johnny" as my husband and I called it, inspired by Jon Ma who died this last year. Click to view my videos.
Gallery Completion
Yay! It's finally done. The Gallery is my largest work of art thus far. Mimicking ancient cave walls with many layers of concrete texture and glazes. The floor has several layers of concrete and metallic glazes, with bare foot prints and other hidden surprizes. Many thanks to my hasband and daugter for their patience and love.

"Inspirational Fire"
The new owner, Cathy, writes "In the dark I could not fully appreciate what I bought! It makes me appreciate even more what you were willing to let this very special piece go for. Just as I had hoped, it is perfect in the spot I had in mind, and it is truly the first thing that catches the eye when coming in the front door." Dedicated to John Ma.
"Weed Line"
Was inspired by husband and best friend, Eddie. He loves to fish and gets so excited when he spots a weed line in a huge area of water.
I can create the wood pallets in any size.
They are hand constructed in my work shop. Made of Birch, they are nailed and glued to a 2 inch frame, with decorative routered edges. I always paint the edges a solid color to match the creation.
"Heather's Palm"
This is a textured piece before the paint was added. Barely fit in my Studio. HUGE!
Etching words of inspiration.
All of my texture on wood pallets include words of inspiration like, peace, love, faith and joy. You'll have to look very close to see the small words.
I create on just about any surface that is available, lol.
